Purpose of the role

To provide practical production, photography and administrative support to the Visual Content function so that shoots, product-image requirements and visual assets are prepared, coordinated and completed efficiently. The role supports product and prop handling, photography and video shoot setup, basic photography, sample movement, asset organisation and day-to-day production tasks under the direction of the Visual Content Production Manager.

Key Performance Areas

Shoot preparation and production support

  • Prepare products, props, surfaces, backgrounds and equipment before photography, video and other visual-production shoots or requirements.
  • Support setup, pack-down and smooth movement during production.
  • Keep the production area organized and safe.

Product and sample coordination

  • Order, collect, track, handle and return product samples accurately.
  • Maintain clear records of items in use, outstanding or returned.
  • Report missing, damaged or incorrect items promptly.

Basic photography and content support

  • Complete basic product or event photography tasks within assigned capability.
  • Follow shot lists, framing and quality guidance.
  • Develop technical capability through feedback and practice.

Asset administration and organisation

  • Transfer, name, sort and store files according to standards.
  • Maintain trackers, checklists and production notes.
  • Support asset retrieval and day-to-day handovers.

Team and logistical support

  • Assist with errands, collections, supplier or external-crew requirements where assigned.
  • Provide reliable practical support across visual-production tasks.
  • Escalate blockers early and communicate clear status.

Minimum Skills and Knowledge required

  • Certificate, Diploma or relevant training in Photography, Visual Communication, Content Production, Marketing or a related field.
  • Basic working knowledge of camera equipment, lighting and image-editing software would be advantageous.
  • Computer literacy and confidence working with shared folders, trackers and task-management tools.
  • 1-3 years of experience in photography assistance, studio support, content production, marketing coordination, product handling or a related junior role.
  • Practical exposure to preparing products, props, sets, backdrops or equipment for shoots.
  • Basic product or event photography capability, with willingness to develop under guidance.
  • Strong organisation and care when handling samples, products, equipment and visual assets.
  • Ability to follow shot lists, briefs, naming conventions and quality instructions accurately.
  • Ability to manage errands, collections, returns and practical production follow-up reliably.
