SSK is seeking an experienced, service-driven Animal Nutritionist to join our team in the Hessequa Region, in the Western Cape. The successful candidate will drive feed formulation, maintain product quality standards, provide expert technical support to producers, and expand our client base across sheep and dairy farming operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize high-quality livestock feed formulations using specialized software.
• Implement and maintain continuous quality control standards across production and feed products.
• Provide ongoing technical advice, service, and nutritional guidance to agricultural clients.
• Actively recruit new clients and build lasting relationships within the livestock farming community.
• Conduct continuous research and deliver practical recommendations regarding market trends, nutritional advancements, and industry challenges.

Requirements

• Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Agriculture.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar animal nutrition role.
• Comprehensive knowledge of sheep and dairy farming, animal production systems, and feeding strategies.
• Computer literacy in MS Office and hands-on experience with the Spesfeed Formulation Program.
• Valid Code B (Code 8) Driver's License.
• Strong service orientation, high observational and planning skills, effective prioritization, and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
