Technical Skills & Qualifications

Education:

- Technical diploma, trade certificate, or relevant vocational training in mechanical, electrical, or automotive engineering.

Basic Mechanical Knowledge:

- Fundamental understanding of internal combustion engines (diesel, LPG) and hydraulic systems.

Basic Electrical Knowledge:

- Ability to read basic wiring diagrams and use a multimeter to test batteries, fuses, and circuits.

Diagnostic Familiarity:

- Exposure to or basic understanding of using hand tools and electronic diagnostic equipment.

Experience & Certifications

Experience Level:

- 2 years of experience in repairing vehicles, machinery, or material handling equipment (apprenticeship experience counts).

Driver's License:

- A valid, clean driver's license (essential).

Forklift License:

- A valid forklift operator's certificate is a major plus (or willingness to obtain one).

Soft Skills & Physical Attributes

Problem-Solving:

- Eagerness to learn troubleshooting and analytical thinking to identify mechanical faults.

Physical Stamina:

- Ability to lift heavy parts, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods in a workshop environment.

Safety Mindset:

- Strict adherence to workshop safety protocols and correct usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Communication:

- Good verbal and written skills to document repair logs and communicate with senior technicians.
