Field Officer

Requirements

  • Grade 12.
  • 0 to 2 years relevant experience which would include the
implementation of programmes and interventions within the

social community and development context.

  • Valid Code EB driver’s licence
  • Special Conditions
  • Incumbent must be prepared to work outside of normal
working hours and at various geographic locations

throughout the City.

  • Must attend beneficiaries meetings in the evening
  • Physical Requirements
  • Incumbent must be able to do an extensive amount of
walking for onsite interventions

Key Performance Areas

  • Implement programmes and interventions aimed at the social
development and support associated with individuals, families

and groups of people living on the street.

  • Assist with the collation of information and data relating to
individuals, families and groups of people living on the street.

  • Report on interactions, programmes and initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with all relevant
interested and affected parties at local level.

  • Undertake the administrative and related functions which
supports the approved programmes and interventions.
