RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the laboratory while assisting with quality control testing and ensuring accurate record-keeping. Your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and technical competency will contribute to our commitment to excellence.

Ensure cleanliness and organization of the designated laboratory area, following cleaning schedules, 5S principles, and good laboratory practices
Conduct routine and ad-hoc quality control (QC) testing, record and analyze test results in protocols and on the SAP system, and report non-conformances to the QC Manager
Release AI batches to Production and Supply Chain on a weekly basis, conduct daily release of Production results, and generate Certificates of Analysis (CoA) within agreed timeframes
Replenish stock in all laboratory areas, perform daily manual temperature monitoring, and sign-off on disinfection log-sheets
Support RC and ISO 9001 requirements and audits, participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Incident Investigations, and internal audits for ISO 9001 and RC
Collaborate effectively with the QC lab staff, demonstrating good interpersonal and communication skills, and participate in Lean 6 Sigma improvement efforts
Conduct water, air, and surface testing as required, maintain the lab stock sheet for chemicals and consumables, and demonstrate flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks

QUALIFICATIONS

National Diploma in Biotechnology or equivalent
B.Tech in Biotechnology is an advantage
Minimum 1 year experience in a SANAS/ISO 9001 accredited microbiology lab
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Fast learner with strong multitasking ability and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
Good work ethic, critical thinking, and technical competency in microbiological techniques
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both independently and in a team setting
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks
