Full job description

A well-established engineering and manufacturing company based in Germiston is looking for an experienced CNC Operator to join their team.Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and set up CNC machinery.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Select tooling and make basic machine adjustments.
  • Measure and inspect components using verniers, micrometers and gauges.
  • Ensure components meet required specifications and tolerances.
  • Perform basic fault-finding and report machine issues.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Meet production and quality targets.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 / Matric.
  • 2–3+ years' CNC operating experience.
  • Experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read technical drawings.
  • Good knowledge of measurements and tolerances.
  • Experience using precision measuring equipment.
  • CNC setup/programming experience will be advantageous.
  • Relevant technical qualification or trade certificate will be advantageous.

Pay: R18 000,00 - R22 000,00 per month
