We are seeking a qualified, goal-driven and self-motivated Care Worker to join our multidisciplinary team.

Purpose of the Role

The Care Worker provides compassionate, safe, and patient-centred care which respects each patient's dignity, preferences, and needs. As a member of the multidisciplinary team, the Care Worker assists with basic patient needs and helps ensure a positive patient experience through effective communication, empathy, and high service standards.

The Care Worker maintains a clean, safe, and organised dialysis environment to promote patient comfort and support infection prevention. This role ensures the unit is operationally ready and contributes to continuity of care throughout the patient journey.

The Care Worker supports quality improvement by following organisational policies, infection prevention standards, and best practices.
Minimum Requirements

Qualifications
  • Grade 12 or Equivalent NQF Level 4 Qualification
  • A certificate of successful completion of the Care Givers course by an accredited provider would be advantageous.
  • Basic computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
