Clinical Medical Officer
Requirements
- MBChB degree
- Two (2) to three (3) years' relevant experience in primary
- Registration with the Health Professions Council of South
- Solid knowledge of all aspects of comprehensive primary
- A valid BLS/ACLS and PALS will be an advantage
- Previous experience in TB, HIV and ARVs will be an advantage.
- Consult and provide preventative, curative and rehabilitative
patients in the primary healthcare programme to enable early
detection, control and recovery from illnesses and diseases
and/or prevention/notification of occupational health hazards
- Guide, mentor and capacitate nursing staff to support patients
include application of specific healthcare techniques and
approaches.
- Provide a quality primary healthcare service that includes
adherence to occupational safety policies and procedures;
timeous reporting of any potential threat
- Participate in the delivery of educational programmes aimed at
safe and healthy lifestyles that will benefit and contribute to
personal well-being and social upliftment in communities
- Participate in operational and clinical research to improve
