Full job description

A well-established manufacturing company based in Philippi East, Cape Town, is seeking a reliable and experienced Code 14 Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery and collection of drums to clients, ensuring excellent service and adherence to all road safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and collect drums to clients safely and efficiently
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects
  • Ensure all deliveries are completed on time
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation
  • Adhere to all road traffic laws and company policies
  • Assist with loading and offloading when required

Minimum Requirements:

  • Valid Code 14 driver’s licence with PDP
  • 5 years proven experience as a Code 14 truck driver
  • Good knowledge of Cape Town routes and surrounding areas
  • Physically fit and able to handle loading/offloading duties
  • Strong sense of responsibility and reliability
  • Good communication skills

Advantageous:

  • Experience in transporting drums or hazardous materials
  • Own reliable transportation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R10 000,00 - R16 000,00 per month
