Job Description

We are seeking a highly vigilant and detail-oriented Control Room Operator to join our operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring security systems, coordinating response teams, and ensuring the safety of clients and assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV systems, alarms, and other security technologies.
• Respond to incidents and escalate according to company procedures.
• Dispatch security personnel and coordinate emergency response.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident records.
• Communicate effectively with on-site teams, clients, and emergency services.
• Identify suspicious activities and take appropriate action.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• PSIRA registration (Grade C or higher preferred)
• Proven experience in a control room / security environment (1–3 years preferred)
• Knowledge of CCTV and alarm monitoring systems
• Fluent in Afrikaans
• Computer literacy (MS Office and control room software)
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to work shifts
