Full job description
We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and creative Head Chef / Cook to join our new restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for menu planning, food preparation, kitchen management, food quality control, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
Minimum Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 3 years' proven experience as a Chef, Cook, or Head Chef.
Sound knowledge of food preparation, menu development, and kitchen operations.
Knowledge of food hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
Ability to work under pressure and manage kitchen staff effectively.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and present high-quality meals.
Develop menus and introduce new dishes.
Manage kitchen staff and daily kitchen operations.
Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation standards.
Maintain inventory and control food costs.
Ensure compliance with all food safety and hygiene requirements.
