Junior Data Analyst

Entry-level · Full time · Data & Analytics team

About the role

We're looking for a curious, motivated Junior Data Analyst to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to build your analytical skills in a supportive environment, working alongside experienced colleagues on real business challenges. You'll get hands-on exposure to data tools, visualisation platforms, and cross-functional projects with plenty of room to grow.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist with collecting, cleaning, and interpreting datasets using SQL and Python or R, under guidance from senior analysts.
  • Support the development and upkeep of dashboards and visualisations in Tableau or Power BI to help teams understand key trends.
  • Help maintain and query databases, learning best practices for data retrieval and storage.
  • Contribute to business analysis work, spotting patterns and flagging opportunities for process improvements.
  • Work collaboratively with teams across the business to understand their data needs and help translate them into practical outputs.
  • Assist with documentation, including basic database design diagrams and project notes.
  • Get introduced to automation scripting (VBA, Bash) to streamline repetitive data tasks .

What we're looking for

  • Some exposure to SQL and at least one of Python or R.
  • Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI .
  • A keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to working with data.
  • Good communication skills — you're comfortable explaining what you've found to people who aren't data specialists.
  • A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn — prior experience with SDLC processes or database design is a bonus.
