Full job description
Sales Data Analyst
We are looking for a sharp, analytical and commercially minded Sales Data Analyst to join our Sales team in a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment.
This role will support the Sales Director and Key Account Managers with accurate sales reporting, margin analysis, stock movement insights and clear recommendations that help grow accounts and improve performance.
Key responsibilities:
- Extract and analyse sales data from SAP, Power BI and retail data systems - interpret it into EXCEL for presentation
- Prepare clear Excel reports on sales trends, customer behaviour, product performance and ranging gaps
- Identify opportunities to improve sales, stock turnover, pricing and gross margin
- Build and maintain dashboards, tools and KPI reports on Excel
- Support Key Account Managers with practical, data-driven insights on Excel
- Work closely with Sales to highlight risks, gaps and growth opportunities
Requirements:
- Strong Excel skills are essential
- Experience with SAP and Power BI is highly advantageous
- Previous experience in sales, retail, manufacturing or distribution reporting
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
- Able to explain data in a simple, practical way
- Comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines
- Relevant degree or qualification in Business, Data Analytics, Economics or similar would be an advantage
