Within the Girls’ College we strive to produce confident young women who are able to lead a life of conviction and purpose. The College’s Methodist focus offers our young women important guiding principles enabling of this life of purpose which is central to the Saints Honour Code, namely “Honour God, Honour others and Honour self”. The Girls’ College provides a safe, nurturing and inclusive community where young women are encouraged to explore, experiment and investigate.

This is a part-time coaching position. The coach will be employed on a fixed-term contract, with remuneration aligned to their expertise and coaching level. Girls’ College invites applications for the above-mentioned position which will be available from 1 September 2026. We welcome applications from qualified and experienced individuals who are confident in their skills and competencies to excel in this role.


The requirements for this position are:


  • Morning and afternoon training sessions as well as one fixture on a Saturday morning.
  • Availability for all training sessions and fixtures.
  • Coaching and management of a diving team – Setting up team lists etc.
  • Working with other diving coaches
  • Individual and holistic development of students.

    The ideal candidate should have:


  • A minimum of 2 years coaching experience at Open level.
  • A competitive level (post matric) or coaching experience in a school, university or club environment is preferred.
  • A professional Degree in Phys Ed, Sports Science or Sports Administration would be an added advantage.
  • An awareness of the nature of the school and willingness to commit to its all-round ethos, co-curricular activities and pastoral approach.
  • Any staff member working within a school is required to have a sexual offender’s clearance certificate
