The Print Shop — a busy Durban print, signage and branding company — needs a hands-on Graphic Designer / DTP Operator to turn client briefs and supplied files into print-ready artwork across digital, large-format and copy-centre work.
Key responsibilities:
- Set up print-ready artwork from briefs and customer files
- Design for digital print, signage and large format
- Provide copy-centre design support
- Maintain brand and print specs (bleed, colour, resolution)
- Work to deadlines in a fast-paced studio
Minimum requirements:
- 2+ years graphic design experience
- Proficient in CorelDraw, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Experience preparing print-ready / DTP artwork
- Strong attention to detail
- Based in or able to commute to Durban North
Advantageous:
- Design qualification (Diploma/Degree)
- Large-format / signage / sublimation / DTF
- Prepress / imposition
- Photography
- Copy-centre experience
Remuneration: Market-related salary.
