REMUNERATION

R 170 226 per annum - R 200 523 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

Grade 10 or equivalent certificate.

INHERENT REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB

Willingness to travel throughout the Western Cape Province. Physically fit to do manual labour.

EXPERIENCE

Appropriate experience within one of the following fields: Electrical, Mechanical, Building, Plumbing, Carpentry and Aircon/Refrigeration. Appropriate experience in a multi-functioned workshop environment.

COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS)

Ability to handle tools. Good interpersonal skills.

DUTIES (KEY RESULT AREAS/OUTPUTS)

Carry out minor maintenance tasks. Assist with repairs and emergency breakdowns (including after hour’s repairs). Assist with the installation of plant, equipment and alterations. Clear areas where work has been carried out. Ensure that tools and material are available when needed. Assist the Artisans in the execution of their duties.
