Enrolled Nurse jobs

Medwell SA is seeking an Enrolled nurse to join our team in Darrenwood retirement village in Linden, Randburg.

Qualifications Required:

• Enrolled Nurse registered with South African Nursing Council
• Interest and knowledge in Primary community healthcare services
• Knowledge and good understanding of Older Person's Act, responsibilities and accountable as per the Scope of Practice
• Knowledge and practical experience of the clinical and administrative requirements and procedures that is expected within the remit Scope of Practice
• Minimum 5 year's work experience

Job Description

• Observe resident's general health status. Measure and record temperature, pulse, blood pressure, respiration, and blood sugar levels
• Execution of basic wound care, injections, oxygen therapy and maintenance of fluid balance
• Complete relevant documentation according to legal requirements
• Keep adequate written records of all encounters with residents
• Administering of medication in Assisted Living units as and when required

Work hours: One week on shift (Sleep in) and one week off shift

Salary: R16 500.00 per month
