Tharido Farms is seeking an experienced, dedicated, and results-driven Farm Manager to oversee the daily operations of the farm. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing farm activities, supervising employees, maintaining equipment, ensuring productivity, and supporting the overall growth and success of the farm.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all daily farm operations.
• Supervise and lead farm workers and other staff members.
• Plan and oversee planting, harvesting, livestock, or other farming activities.
• Monitor crop and livestock health and ensure best farming practices are followed.
• Manage farm resources, equipment, and maintenance schedules.
• Keep records of production, expenses, stock, and farm activities.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Monitor irrigation systems, feed supplies, and farm inputs.
• Assist with budgeting, purchasing, and operational planning.
• Implement strategies to improve productivity and efficiency.

Requirements

• Previous experience in farm management or agricultural operations.
• Knowledge of crop production, livestock management, or general farming practices.
• Strong leadership and staff management skills.
• Good planning, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
• Valid driver's licence is advantageous.
• Basic computer and record-keeping skills.
