Behind the scenes, we’re a fast-moving SME that’s scaling fast — locally and internationally — and we need a switched-on, pragmatic accountant who knows how to keep the numbers tight and the wheels turning.
This isn’t your typical corporate finance job. It’s hands-on and impact-driven. You’ll be part of a lean, dynamic team where every decision counts — and you’ll have real influence over how the business runs.
What You’ll Do
- Run the day-to-day finance function — cash flow, management accounts, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Take ownership of inventory, stock control, and costing — making sure what’s on the books matches what’s on the shelves.
- Maintain and monitor Bills of Materials (BOMs) and product profitability.
- Oversee procurement and supplier management, ensuring smooth operations and smart spending.
- Keep systems sharp — from accounting platforms to inventory tracking.
- Deliver monthly reports that actually mean something — not just numbers, but insights.
- Support management in smart, data-driven decision-making.
What You Bring
- A BCom Accounting or Financial Management degree (or similar qualification).
- At least 5 years of real, hands-on experience managing finances in an SME, FMCG, or manufacturing environment.
- Solid skills in inventory, costing, BOMs, and supplier management.
- Comfort with accounting/ERP systems (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
- You’re sharp, reliable, and not afraid to get your hands dirty when needed.
- You don’t just report problems — you fix them.
