Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service that exceeds guest expectations.
• Welcome and seat guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Present menus, explain specials, and make knowledgeable food and wine recommendations.
• Accurately take food and beverage orders using the restaurant's POS system.
• Serve food and beverages according to fine dining service standards.
• Ensure tables are impeccably set before service and maintained throughout the dining experience.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
• Process bills and payments accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with company policies.
• Work closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and food safety regulations.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Minimum 2–3 years' experience as a waitron in a fine dining or upscale restaurant.
• Excellent knowledge of food, wine, cocktails, and beverage service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and excellent grooming standards.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Reliable transport to and from work.
