Job Summary

The Doctor is responsible for providing high-quality medical care and occupational health services to employees of corporate clients within a hospital or onsite corporate healthcare setting. The role focuses on preventive healthcare, diagnosis and treatment of illnesses and injuries, wellness initiatives, fitness-for-work assessments, and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct medical consultations, examinations, and treatment for employees and patients.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
  • Perform occupational health assessments, including:
    • Pre-employment medicals
    • Periodic health screenings
    • Return-to-work evaluations
    • Fitness-for-duty assessments
  • Provide emergency medical care and first aid when required.
  • Develop and implement workplace wellness and health promotion programs.
  • Monitor workplace-related illnesses and injuries and recommend preventive measures.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and confidential patient documentation.
  • Collaborate with corporate HR teams, safety officers, and hospital specialists regarding employee health matters.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, occupational health legislation, and company policies.
  • Participate in health education sessions and awareness campaigns.
  • Refer patients to specialists or external healthcare providers when necessary.
  • Support vaccination drives, chronic disease management, and employee assistance programs.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Medical Degree (MBChB/MD or equivalent).
  • Valid medical registration and practicing license with the relevant medical council.
  • Certification or experience in Occupational Health Medicine is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 2–5 years clinical experience, preferably in hospital or corporate healthcare environments.
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS/BLS) certification preferred.
