Job description:

We are a fast growing Meat Manufacturing company in Food Lovers Market. We are looking for 6 experienced blockman.

Grade 12

2 years experience in a retail or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

Meat Processing : Expertly cut, bone, trim and tie various meats (beef, pork, lamb,) using specialized tools.

Production Planning : Implement daily production plans and break down carcass according to specific retail or butchery standards.

Safety & Hygiene : Adhere to strict health, safety and hygiene regulations including maintaining a clean work area and monitoring cold chain temperatures.

Required Skills :

Technical Skills : Proficiency in using butchers knives, bandsaws and mincers. Identifying different cuts of meat .

Knowledge : Deep understanding of meat cuts, preparation techniques and food safety regulations.

Attributes : High attention to detail, physical stamina and good communication skills.
