Restaurant Manager

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Restaurant Manager to lead our team and oversee the daily operations of a busy restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage and motivate all staff to achieve sales, profitability and operational targets.
  • Ensure the restaurant operates in accordance with company policies, procedures and service standards.
  • Take full responsibility for stock control, including identifying, investigating and preventing stock losses and mismanagement.
  • Analyse financial and operational reports to drive continuous improvement and profitability.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, maintenance, and health & safety compliance.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging professionally with guests and resolving any concerns promptly.
  • Manage staff performance, training, scheduling and accountability.
  • Maintain excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on cost control and operational efficiency.
  • Lead by example with a positive attitude, high energy levels and a hands-on management style.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar Restaurant Manager role.
  • Proven experience in stock control and stock management is essential.
  • Strong analytical, reporting and communication skills.
  • Excellent leadership and people management abilities.
  • Stable employment history with contactable references.
  • Own reliable transport.
  • South African citizen.
  • Professional appearance with sober habits.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
