Full Time Training Manager jobs

We are looking for a practical, organised and confident Training & Skills Development Officer to coordinate and deliver employee training across the business.

Key responsibilities:

• Coordinate employee training requirements received from managers and HR.
• Manage the training schedule and ensure approved training is delivered on time.
• Facilitate induction, onboarding, refresher, operational and skills-based training.
• Work with the development team to prepare and maintain training material and supporting documentation.
• Maintain accurate training attendance records, assessments, competency records and training evidence.
• Follow up on completion of training and identify retraining or refresher requirements.
• Support managers with training implementation
• Maintain the company training matrix and training records.
• Assist with identifying training needs and skills gaps across departments.
• Support the development of structured learning programmes and internal training content.
• Phase two of the role will include greater responsibility for skills development administration, planning, reporting and coordination.
• Be available to conduct training over weekends when operational requirements make this necessary.

Candidate profile:

The ideal candidate is confident in front of groups, highly organised, able to manage a training calendar independently, comfortable working with employees at all levels and able to keep firm professional boundaries. They should be proactive, dependable, detail-oriented and comfortable taking ownership of the training function with limited day-to-day supervision.

Experience: Approximately 2-3 years' practical experience in training, facilitation, learning and development. Exposure to skills development administration will be advantageous.
