A well established restaurant situated in Paarl, is looking to fill the above position. A person with a positive, energetic and enthusiastic approach to life and who can function well under pressure and work long hours.

The ideal applicant is a fully bilingual person with good communication skills who can communicate well with people at all levels. A Senior Certificate, a relevant tertiary qualification (Diploma or degree in Hospitality) or a similar qualification, 3 years experience in the hospitality industry and thorough computer and administrative skills are requirements for the position. The successful applicant must have own transport and must be prepared to work long hours, weekends and public holidays.

The successful candidate's reports directly to the Executive Chef and duties include among others * assist with planning of functions * coordinating all restaurant activities * staff management and administration * stock control and all ad hoc administrative tasks normally associated with this position.
