VACANCY: HR ASSISTANT

We are looking for a reliable, organised, and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing general HR and administrative support and should be comfortable working with employee records, attendance, leave, onboarding, and payroll-related administration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
• Perform filing and general HR administration
• Monitor and maintain attendance and leave records
• Assist with general HR administrative tasks
• Provide support during employee onboarding and offboarding
• Assist with payroll month-end processes
• Ensure HR documentation is properly completed, filed, and maintained
• Assist the HR department with day-to-day employee-related administrative matters
• Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in an HR Assistant, HR Administrator, or similar role
• HR qualification or relevant HR-related training will be advantageous
• Good knowledge of HR administration and employee record keeping
• Good organisational and time-management skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Computer literate, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to work with confidential information professionally
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Must be a south African
