Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Administrator to support our HR and operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of HR administrative functions, including payroll support, employee relations, recruitment, and site-based administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with payroll preparation and processing, ensuring accuracy of employee hours and data
- Provide HR administrative support across multiple sites
- Manage employee attendance, absenteeism, and abscondment cases
- Draft and issue disciplinary documentation, including warnings and abscondment letters
- Support recruitment processes, including sourcing and onboarding of employees
- Maintain and update employee records and filing systems
- Manage uniform tracking and maintain related spreadsheets
- Prepare HR correspondence such as confirmation of employment letters
- Act as a reliable point of contact for HR queries via WhatsApp and other communication channels
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Minimum Requirements:
- Proven experience in HR administration or a similar role
- Knowledge of payroll processes
- Strong understanding of labour relations and disciplinary procedures
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
Advantageous:
- Experience in the security or cleaning industry
- Knowledge of relevant labour legislation
