Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Head Chef to join our team in the Mica/Hoedspruit area. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high‑quality meals, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring excellent food standards are consistently maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and cook meals according to set menus and dietary requirements
  • Ensure food presentation and taste meet quality standards
  • Manage stock levels, ordering, and kitchen supplies
  • Maintain hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in the kitchen at all times
  • Supervise and train kitchen assistants or support staff where required
  • Adapt menus based on seasonal availability and client preferences
  • Work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Chef (minimum 3 years preferred)
  • Culinary qualification or relevant certification advantageous
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
