Full job description
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications.
- Receive and process prescription orders.
- Label, package, and organize medications under pharmacist supervision.
- Provide excellent customer service and answer basic inquiries.
- Maintain patient records and pharmacy documentation.
- Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications and supplies.
- Monitor expiration dates and remove outdated products.
- Operate pharmacy software and point-of-sale systems.
- Handle cash, insurance claims, and payment transactions.
- Ensure the pharmacy is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Support pharmacists with administrative and clerical duties.
