Junior Associate Clinical Data Coordinator – Clindata SA

Clindata is a Contract Research Organization (CRO) based in South Africa, Sri Lanka, Mauritius and France. The Clindata core team of experienced, dedicated staff has worked for CRO’s in the Animal Health industry for many years.

We are currently recruiting for a Junior Associate Clinical Data Coordinator to join our team at our Bloemfontein Site.

Primary Job Purpose

Responsible for the delivery of Data Management services and to coordinate and manage data processes related to multiple studies.

Job Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform core data management tasks including data entry checks, document preparation, and assigned QC activities.
• Draft study documentation including DMPs, edit checks, DCFs, and trackers for senior review.
• Maintain complete and accurate database records, study trackers, issue logs, and documentation to inspection‑ready standards.
• Support database change control and data transfers and assist with change control processes.
• Perform UAT, data QC and data reviews.
• Support preparation and execution of UAT, logging defects and following up on resolutions.
• Prepare databases for lock, ensuring all documentation, audit trails, and reconciliation steps meet compliance requirements.
• Contribute improvements to templates, checklists, and study materials to increase team efficiency.

Qualification, Training and Experience Requirements

• 3-year qualification in the Sciences Field.
  
• Industry experience will be beneficial.

Specific Skills and Abilities required:

• Attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Outlook, MS Teams and Office 365.
• Ability to learn new software and systems.
• Ability to work independently and be part of a team.
• Excellent time-management (meeting deadlines) and problem-solving skills.
