Our Nipro Medical and Universal Renal Care (URC) South Africa offices, have a large geographical footprint across the country (Gauteng, KwaZulu Natal, Limpopo, North-West, Eastern Cape, Mpumalanga, Free State) and we are home to Nipro Medical EMEA.


For Nipro Medical and Universal Renal Care South Africa, we are looking for a Back Office Support who is experienced, hands-on, and communicative to join us in our Human Resource team, based in our headquarter offices in Midrand, Gauteng.


About the role

The incumbent will manage the procurement of goods for Midrand office operations, ensure cost efficiency, compliance with company policies and regulations to ensure office supplies are purchased timeously. To administer, monitor, and optimize the company’s fleet management system and processes, ensuring accurate fleet data and reporting. To provide technical assistance to users by maintaining and resolving IT hardware issues and ensure smooth day-to-day operations of IT hardware support within the company.

How you will contribute

Administrative Support

  • Manage and organize company records and files
  • Source and utilize cost effective suppliers. Exercise and apply cost-effective purchasing decisions.
  • Maintain a supplier database and conduct regular price comparison exercise.
  • Monitor office consumable stock levels and utilization patterns.
  • Reorder supplies timely and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Support management team members with ad-hoc administrative requests as and when required

Data Management

  • Capture, update, and maintain data in systems
  • Manage fleet management system for each business unit.
  • Maintain accurate vehicle and company vehicle user registration information.
  • Arrange new, renewal, deactivation and repairs of devices installed in company vehicles.
  • Arrange and escalate (where required) queries and complaints to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure system integrity and data accuracy.
  • Maintain fleet documentation and records.
  • Provide support related to accident investigation and reporting.

IT and Systems Support

  • Provide basic technical support to internal customers.
  • Support internal customers with acquisition of new / replacement / repair booking of equipment (where applicable).
  • Troubleshoot hardware setup and internal software before escalation to HQ IT.

Human Resources

  • Maintain employee records and files.
  • Assist with recruitment administration (e.g., scheduling interviews).
  • Process onboarding and offboarding documentation.
  • Support training coordination and capturing on relevant Workplace Skills Planning reports.
  • Support line managers with monitoring time and attendance system.
  • Support with weekly (as and when required) payroll processes.
  • Build relationships with internal customers and provide appropriate support.
  • Support with preparing audit documentation as and when required.

What you bring to Nipro and URC

  • National Senior Certificate (Matric)
  • Diploma in Administration
  • 2–5 years’ experience in procurement or administration role.
