Key Responsibilities
Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair dialysis machines and related equipment.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and safety checks in line with manufacturer guidelines and internal procedures.
Calibrate, test, and document equipment performance to ensure reliability and compliance.
Respond promptly to equipment faults and minimize downtime in clinical settings.
Maintain accurate service records, maintenance logs, and parts inventory documentation.
Coordinate with clinical staff, vendors, and internal teams to support equipment availability and safe operation.
Assist with equipment installation, commissioning, and user support when needed.
Follow all applicable health, safety, infection control, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Diploma, certificate, or technical training in biomedical equipment technology, electronics, electrical systems, or a related field.
Proven experience maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing medical or dialysis-related equipment.
Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, and basic electronic systems.
Ability to read technical manuals, service documentation, and equipment specifications.
Good recordkeeping, organization, and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with clinical and technical teams.
Commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working specifically with dialysis machines in a healthcare or clinical environment.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and compliance documentation.
Vendor or manufacturer training/certification related to dialysis or biomedical equipment.
Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking and reporting.
Work Conditions
Work may involve hospital, clinic, or service workshop environments.
May require standing for extended periods, lifting equipment or parts within safe limits, and responding to urgent service calls.
Availability for occasional after-hours, on-call, or weekend support may be required, depending on operational needs.
