Purpose of the Job:
To provide HR Generalist function and support the HR Department in the successful execution of the FSCA Strategic Human Capital objectives.
Key Performance Areas (KPAs):

relationships, knowledge of current HR legislation, ability to perform consistently under pressure and have strong numerical skills.

To provide HR Generalist function and support the HR Department in the successful execution of the FSCA Strategic Human Capital objectives.
Key Performance Areas (KPAs):
- Partner with business leaders to ensure alignment of HR outputs with the objectives of the Departments and Divisions
- Ensure that talent management initiatives of the Departments/Divisions are monitored and discussed with line management
- Manage the talent acquisition processes for the Departments/Divisions by coordinating and supporting recruitment and selection processes.
- Ensure vacancies are filled within agreed turnaround times
- Oversee onboarding and integration of new employees, including administration of appointments and transfers ensure that off boarding processes are managed timeously;
- Support change management and transformation initiatives.
- Review and prepare job descriptions; job profiles and job specifications;
- Advise staff on performance management processes and development matters;
- Provide advice and support on disciplinary matters, grievances, incapacity, and disputes.
- Promote sound employee relations practices and compliance with labour legislation.
- Support conflict resolution and workplace harmony.
- Provide advice on FST Employee benefits and compensation matters;
- Provide advice on various FST policies and administration thereof;
- Perform general administration function and project related function as directed;
- Ensure employee files are always kept up to date;
- Manage payroll processes, salary reviews and incentives by ensuring quality of the payroll submissions to the FSCA Finance Department;
- Manage relationship with internal and external service providers;
- Conduct ad-hoc projects in other areas of human resources;
- Provide ongoing reports and relevant statistics on tasks relating to own work.
- Support initiatives to improve employee engagement, morale, and retention.
- Track and respond to employee feedback and workplace climate issues.
- Compile and analyse HR metrics and management reports.
- Provide insights on headcount, turnover, absenteeism, vacancies, and employee relations trends.
- Use data to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external HR service providers.
- Ensure service delivery standards are met.
- Act as a trusted advisor to management and staff.

A 3-year National Diploma or bachelor’s degree in human resources management. Exposure in the following fields of HR is a must: recruitment and selection, benefits and rewards, employee relations; performance management and employee wellness. The successful candidate will be required to avail themselves for any projects relating to their scope of work or FSCA in general.
