Full job description

We are seeking an experienced, proactive IT Support Technician to join our team in Kempton Park. If you have exceptional problem-solving abilities, great interpersonal skills, and a willingness to go the extra mile, we want to hear from you.

IT Technician Responsibilities:

· Resolution of IT Help Desk tickets.

· VoIP Phone support.

· Configure & deployment of 1:1 devices.

· Setup and install Network infrastructure. Wired and wireless.

· Infrastructure Maintenance: MikroTik, Ubiquiti, Cisco etc.

· Installing and configuring hardware and software components to ensure usability.

· Trouble shooting hardware and software issues.

· Ensure electrical standards are met.

· Repairing or replacing damaged hardware.

· Upgrading the entire system to enable compatible software on all computers.

· Travel to client’s site.

IT Technician Requirements:

· A+ Certified.

· N+ Certified.

· Good understanding of MikroTik Router Board’s.

· Good understanding of Wireless networks.

· Excellent knowledge of VoIP Systems.

· Excellent knowledge of Domains and DNS.

· Experience in Microsoft server, Exchange and Active directory.

· Min 2 years field experience.

· Excellent diagnose and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communications skills.

· Exceptional organizing and time management skills.

· Ability to multi-task.

· Critical-thinker and problem-solver.

· Be a team player.

· Own reliable transport.
