Full job description

Temp Role - We're looking for a junior kitchen designer for a kitchen company in Sandton.

  • We're looking for someone awesome to join our team for a temporay role till closure in December 2026. Thereafter we will discuss opportunities.
  • The position available is for a junior kitchen designer.
  • We are based in Kramerville, Sandton, Johannesburg.
  • Some of the tasks associated with this position will include:
  • Interpretation of the site measurements and notes.
  • Designing a well thought-out area be it a kitchen, bar, bedroom cupboards etc and ensure that is functional and in-line with client’s personal aesthetics.
  • You would be required to compile quotes, cut-lists for orders, presentation layouts, finishing and fixture schedules relating to the project and place orders.
  • You will be required from time to time to create brochures & pamphlets for marketing purposes.
  • Administrative duties (Data capturing, creating mailers, setting up spreadsheets, filing etc..)
  • Assisting walk-in clients / client presentations in the showroom.
  • Qualification in Interior Design (Degree or Diploma) and sales/design experience would be preferable.
  • Computer Literacy and Own Transport are non-negotiable [You'll need to send examples of your work during the interview stage].
  • Working hours: 8:00am – 17:00pm, Monday – Friday, 9:00am - 14:00pm - Sat.
  • Cutlist knowledge is a necessity (Component make up for carcass and doors etc)
  • Delivery receiving & dispatch assistance.
  • Designs using Compusoft Winner Design.
  • Initial 3 month contract till Dec 2026.

Pay: R11 500,00 - R14 000,00 per month

Education:

  • Bachelors (Preferred)
