Part-Time Remote Sales Representative — South Africa

We are looking for confident, reliable, and well-spoken people in South Africa to join us as part-time remote sales representatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys speaking to people, is comfortable making calls, and wants to gain experience working with an international AI company.

What You’ll Do

You will contact restaurants and hospitality businesses, introduce Vlok, explain how our platform can help them manage calls, bookings, reservations, and customer enquiries, and book interested businesses into demos or sales conversations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Making outbound calls to restaurants and hospitality businesses
• Introducing Vlok clearly and professionally
• Qualifying interested leads
• Booking demos and follow-up calls
• Keeping simple notes and updates in our CRM
• Following up with potential clients by phone, email, or message
• Representing Vlok professionally in every interaction

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Confident speaking on the phone
• Fluent in English
• Reliable, organised, and self-motivated
• Comfortable working remotely
• Able to work independently
• Interested in sales, startups, technology, AI, or hospitality
• Able to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude
• Available for around 20 hours per week
• Experienced in sales, customer service, or customer-facing work
• Strong with technology and able to understand software products quickly

Skills and Experience

Sales experience is preferred, especially in outbound calling, telesales, lead generation, hospitality, or customer service.

Strong technical ability is highly valued. You should be confident using online software tools, CRMs, spreadsheets, calling systems, email platforms, and AI tools. You should also be able to quickly understand how a software product works, explain technical features in simple language, follow structured sales processes, and troubleshoot basic technical questions from potential customers.

Experience with SaaS, CRM systems, hospitality software, POS systems, booking platforms, AI tools, or automation platforms is a strong advantage.

However, we care most about confidence, communication skills, reliability, and willingness to learn.

Pay and Bonuses

Hourly pay ranges from R50–R80 per hour, depending on experience and performance.

You will also earn bonuses for clients you help bring in:

• R1,000 when a client signs up and pays their first invoice
• R1,000 if that client remains active for 3 months
• R2,000 total potential bonus per client
