Full job description

Role Overview

We are looking for Voice Performance Trainees to join our team on a part-time, shift-based basis.

This is a training-led, supervised on-mic role designed for individuals who are new to voice performance or seeking structured entry into television dubbing. Work is scheduled based on production needs and may range from one to three shifts per week.

This role does not operate at professional voice-actor or freelance voice-over rates.

Working Schedule

  • Shifts are scheduled weekly based on production requirements
  • Half-day (08:00-12:00/13:00-17:00) or full-day (08:00-17:00) shifts may be assigned
  • No guaranteed minimum number of shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform scripted dialogue under supervision
  • Follow dialogue direction for timing, clarity, and emotional intent
  • Record basic sync dialogue and narration
  • Participate in supervised retakes and performance corrections
  • Maintain consistency in performance and pronunciation
  • Adhere to studio rules, schedules and delivery standards

Training & Supervision

  • Work under a Dialogue Director and Supervisor
  • Receive ongoing guidance, feedback, and performance coaching
  • All recordings are quality-checked and reviewed

This role forms part of a structured training and skills-development pipeline.

Requirements

  • Clear speaking voice and good reading ability
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
  • Reliable, punctual and comfortable working in a studio environment
  • Acting, drama or language training is an advantage but not required
  • No prior professional voice-over experience required

Contract Type

Part-time, shift-based employment on a fixed-term contract, renewable based on performance and production requirements.
