Full job description

Peachtree Networks is a growing international telecom company with multiple international offices that offers talented and driven individuals the opportunity to grow their careers in an exciting and professional field.

Since our establishment, we have recognized the importance of attracting and developing a well-trained, diversified, and committed workforce. We are committed to providing our people with intensive training and career development opportunities, a dynamic, professional, and challenging environment, and the best equal employment opportunity practices.

The Global Sourcing Lead, Network Infrastructure, will be responsible for defining and executing global sourcing and procurement strategies specifically for new, refurbished, and end-of-life telecom network equipment, components, and optical transceivers. This role ensures the timely acquisition of specialized multi-vendor goods and services at optimal cost and quality while adhering to Peachtree Networks' commitment to sustainability and cost-saving objectives (Maximizing Savings, Minimizing Costs). The Lead focuses on strategic vendor engagement, optimizing inventory flow, and ensuring compliance with quality and ISO-certified reverse logistics standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and nurture strong, strategic relationships with global OEM, broker, and third-party suppliers, focusing on sources for new and refurbished multi-vendor telecom equipment.
  • Evaluate and pre-qualify new suppliers to ensure alignment with quality, cost, and compliance standards, especially regarding the quality testing and certification of refurbished parts.
  • Maintain active broker and supplier relationships and liaise for technical and commercial support, particularly for end-of-life and hard-to-find network components.
  • Lead the planning and execution of the company’s global sourcing strategy to support both sales and Spare Parts Management Services (SPMS).
  • Analyze global market trends, including the secondary telecom equipment market, to optimize purchasing decisions and maximize order margin.
  • Review, negotiate, and finalize supplier contracts, terms, and agreements to ensure favorable terms and long-term partnership benefits.
  • Determine optimal purchasing methods considering cost, quality, delivery, and service efficiency, often balancing the supply of new vs. refurbished equipment.
  • Oversee and optimize end-to-end procurement processes, including RFQs, inventory management, and material flow to support rapid fulfillment timelines (15-day turnaround).
  • Manage inventory systems and surplus stock decisions, including scrap/sell determinations, coordinating closely with the Reverse Logistics team for optimal recovery value (auditing, consignment resale, and recycling).
  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of procurement records, documentation, and reporting standards, including adherence to ISO E-Waste Recycling facility requirements.
  • Act as a strategic link between sales and operations, providing product specifications to the fulfillment team and ensuring alignment with client needs, particularly concerning OEM-compatible optics.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to clarify complex technical requirements and ensure procurement aligns with business objectives.
  • Mentor and guide sourcing specialists on best practices, goal achievement, and capability development regarding multi-vendor sourcing and pricing strategies.
  • Monitor workload and pipeline distribution within the sourcing process to ensure adequate coverage and business continuity.
  • Generate and analyze KPIs and metrics to monitor procurement efficiency and drive continuous process improvements.
  • Conduct root cause analyses to resolve complex purchasing issues and streamline sourcing operations.
  • Ensure full compliance with internal procurement policies and quality assurance procedures.
  • Any tasks or responsibilities assigned in the future, as required by the business or management, shall be considered part of the scope of this position

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of international sourcing or procurement experience in a technical or operational environment.
  • Proven expertise in sourcing, negotiation, and supplier contract management.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in ERP and purchase order systems (Oracle, SAP, DEAR, IQ, or equivalent).
  • Professional or fluent English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership capability with experience in managing international or remote teams.
