About the Role: We are seeking a talented and passionate Junior Sous Chef to join our culinary team. Specialising in high-end external events, private dining, and bespoke culinary experiences, our team delivers exceptional food service beyond the traditional kitchen setting. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Chef in the daily operations of the kitchen and during off-site event execution.
• Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes tailored to exclusive external events, banquets, and fine dining experiences.
• Help lead and motivate a team of line cooks and prep staff, ensuring seamless service in varying environments.
• Maintain impeccable standards of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen organization at all times.
• Manage inventory, portion control, and prep schedules to ensure efficient mobile kitchen setups.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of culinary experience specifically in high-end external events, fine dining, or premium restaurant environments.
• Proven ability to adapt to different kitchen setups and execute flawless food service off-site.
• Strong foundational knowledge of advanced culinary techniques and contemporary flavor profiles.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills under pressure.
• A formal culinary degree or relevant certification is highly preferred.
• Experience as a Halaal supervisor or muslim background.

Pay: R10 000,00 - R15 000,00 per month
