Full job description

About the opportunity

We’re looking for an early-career Full Stack Developer who is ready to learn fast and contribute to real production software. You’ll work across the web front ends and back-end services of Core Group’s omnichannel platform, delivering well-scoped development tasks with guidance and regular review from experienced engineers.

What you’ll be doing

  • Deliver well-scoped development tasks across Angular/React front ends and .NET/C# or Node.js back ends.
  • Contribute to technical solutions for assigned work with guidance from senior engineers.
  • Follow engineering standards, patterns and code-review feedback consistently.
  • Write unit tests for your work and follow secure-coding and QA practices.
  • Take part in Agile ceremonies, communicate progress clearly and work collaboratively with the team.
  • Actively build your skills across the full stack through hands-on delivery, training and feedback.
Technology you’ll be exposed to
  • Front end: Angular and React
  • Back end: .NET / C# and Node.js
  • Data: SQL Server, PostgreSQL and Cosmos DB
  • Cloud: Microsoft Azure
  • Integration: Azure Integration Stack and REST APIs
What we’re looking for
  • Degree, diploma or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field — or demonstrable equivalent through projects or a bootcamp.
  • 0–3 years of software development experience; internships, academic projects and strong personal projects are relevant.
  • Exposure to at least one front-end framework (Angular or React) and one back-end technology (.NET/C# or Node.js).
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, REST APIs and Git.
  • Basic testing and debugging skills.
  • A strong learning mindset, willingness to apply feedback and a collaborative team-first attitude.
Advantageous
  • Retail, e-commerce, POS or omnichannel exposure.
  • Experience or project exposure to Microsoft Azure.
  • Exposure to designing or consuming APIs used by web and mobile applications.
What will make you successful

You are curious, dependable and eager to grow your craft while delivering useful software as part of an experienced engineering team.

How we work

We value customer focus, getting things done, teamwork, innovation, integrity, passion and embracing differences. We’re looking for people who bring those values into the way they solve problems, collaborate and deliver.

Please note: These roles may require occasional out-of-hours support during peak-trading and major product-launch windows, as well as occasional travel between offices or supported markets.

If this sounds like the kind of challenge you’re ready for, we’d love to hear from you.
