Job Summary:

The Website Project Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of website development projects from onboarding through launch and post-launch support. This role will also assist with website development, troubleshooting and website optimization.

This role combines project management, client communication, website QA, process management, and technical website knowledge.

The ideal candidate has website development experience and understands WordPress, Elementor, and website development workflows while possessing exceptional organizational and communication skills.

Core Responsibilities:

Project Management

• Manage multiple website projects simultaneously
• Create and maintain project timelines
• Monitor milestones and deadlines
• Identify bottlenecks and risks early
• Ensure projects stay on scope, schedule, and budget

Client Communication

• Lead project kickoff meetings
• Conduct status update meetings
• Manage client expectations
• Gather content, images, and feedback
• Translate client requests into actionable tasks

Website Development Coordination

• Coordinate designers, developers, and content
• Review website builds before client presentation
• Ensure implementation follows approved designs
• Monitor task completion inside ClickUp

Quality Assurance

• Conduct website QA before launch
• Review mobile responsiveness
• Verify forms, tracking, integrations, and functionality
• Test user experience and conversion paths
• Ensure SEO best practices are followed

Launch Management

• Coordinate website launches
• Verify DNS, hosting, redirects, and SSL
• Ensure post-launch testing is completed
• Monitor for launch issues

Website Development & Support

• Develop landing pages and service pages
• Perform ongoing website maintenance
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical website issues including plugin conflicts, problems, CSS issues, hosting-related concerns, and website errors
• Assist with website optimization including page speed, Core Web Vitals, and technical SEO implementation
• Assist with building custom WordPress websites as needed

Requirements:

• 3+ years project management experience
• 2+ years WordPress development experience
• 2+ years of digital marketing agency experience
• WordPress and Elementor experience
• Detail-oriented, highly organized and self managed
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
• Reliable high-speed internet and backup power solution
• Available to work Eastern Standard Time

Status:

• Full-time, Remote

Pay: R28 168,15 - R46 394,60 per month
