About Us
A7Health is a growing, patient-focused medical practice committed to delivering exceptional healthcare and service. As we continue to expand the services we offer our patients, we are introducing nursing support into our practice and are looking to build a pool of professional, compassionate, and reliable Locum Enrolled Nurses to provide clinical support on an ad hoc, as-needed basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a collaborative healthcare team and contribute to delivering exceptional patient care in a modern primary healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Support
- Provide basic patient care, including taking vital signs and assisting doctors during consultations.
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all equipment is clean and ready for use.
- Assist with clinical procedures as directed by the attending practitioner.
- Maintain infection prevention and control standards.
- Monitor patient wellbeing and report any concerns to the treating doctor.
Patient Care
- Deliver compassionate, professional nursing care.
- Educate patients on treatment instructions where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with practice policies and POPIA requirements.
Clinical Support & Stock
- Assist with maintaining clinical stock levels and ensuring treatment rooms remain clean, organised, and fully equipped.
Requirements
- Registered Enrolled Nurse (EN) with SANC.
- Previous experience in a clinic, hospital, or medical practice is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Professional, reliable, adaptable, and patient-focused.
- Available to work flexible ad hoc shifts as required.
