Locum General Practitioner (GP) – Wednesdays & Fridays

The Back Clinic – Kempton Park

About Us

The Back Clinic is a multidisciplinary healthcare practice focused on the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients with back, neck, joint, and musculoskeletal conditions. We are looking for a compassionate and patient-focused Locum General Practitioner to join our Kempton Park practice on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Position Details

  • Position: Locum General Practitioner (GP)
  • Location: Kempton Park
  • Schedule: Wednesdays and Fridays
  • Employment Type: Independent Locum Contractor

Responsibilities

  • Consult with and assess patients presenting with musculoskeletal and general medical conditions.
  • Develop and implement appropriate treatment and management plans.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, including physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical records.
  • Deliver excellent patient care in line with practice standards.

Requirements

  • Registered with the HPCSA as a Medical Practitioner.
  • Valid medical indemnity insurance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Previous experience in primary healthcare or musculoskeletal medicine will be advantageous.

Training

Successful applicants will be required to complete The Back Clinic's clinical training programme before commencing locum duties. This training ensures consistency in patient care and familiarity with our treatment protocols.
