The Opportunity

To support our creative team, we are creating a new and vital role for a dedicated Digital Print Operator. This is not a design job. This is a production-focused role for a technical, organized, and quality-driven individual.

You will be the single point of ownership for our Fuji Revoria and Xerox Iridesse - laser printing presses. Your mission will be to manage the daily print queues, optimize the workflow, and produce every job to the highest standard.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Manage the Print Queue: Take ownership of the digital job queue, scheduling, and prioritizing jobs based on deadlines and specifications.
• Execute from Job Tickets: Meticulously read and follow detailed job tickets provided by the design team.
• Machine Operation: Set up, calibrate, and operate our digital production press.
• Stock Management: Load and manage all paper stocks, ensuring the correct substrate is used for every job.
• Batch Printing: Intelligently "batch" jobs by paper type and settings to maximize machine efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Quality Control: Act as the first and last line of quality defence. You will be responsible for checking colour, alignment, and print quality, and running proofs for designer sign-off.
• Basic Maintenance: Manage all consumables (toner, ink, etc.) and perform daily operator maintenance to keep the press in perfect working order.
• Liaise & Communicate: Work with the design team to resolve any file or job ticket queries and coordinate print deadlines.

About You: Who We Are Looking For

• Proven Experience: You MUST have demonstrated experience as a Print Operator or in a similar print production role.
• Production Mindset: You are a production specialist and are excited by the challenge of running an efficient production workflow.
• Meticulous Eye for Detail: You spot errors others miss. You care deeply about quality, consistency, and getting it right the first time.
• Highly Organised: You love a good process, a clean workspace, and a well-managed queue. You can multitask without getting flustered.
• Technically Minded: You are comfortable with machinery, software, and basic troubleshooting. Experience with Digital Front-Ends (DFEs) like Fiery or Revoria Flow, is a major plus.
• Proactive & Efficient: You don't wait for work. You are always looking at the queue, batching the next job, and prepping the machine.
• A Calm Team Player: You can communicate clearly and professionally with our creative team.
