Euro Bath & Tile is looking for a reliable and skilled Handyman / Maintenance Assistant to join our ever-growing team at our Greenstone Branch.

At Euro Bath & Tile, we specialise in selling quality imported tiles, taps and sanitaryware, with branches in Centurion, Greenstone and Trichardt.

We are looking for a dedicated, hands-on individual with experience in general building maintenance, repairs and upkeep of both warehouse and showroom facilities. The ideal candidate will be proactive, dependable and take pride in maintaining a safe, clean and professional working environment.

Functions:

• Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the warehouse and showroom.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance requirements.
• Assemble and install shelving, displays and fixtures.
• Repair damaged walls, doors, ceilings, floors and fittings.
• Replace light fittings, bulbs and other electrical accessories where appropriate.
• Ensure the warehouse and showroom remain clean, safe and well maintained.
• Assist with moving, assembling and installing stock displays when required.
• Liaise with external contractors for specialised repairs when necessary.
• Maintain maintenance tools and equipment in good working order.
• Report maintenance issues and recommend preventative maintenance where required.
• Assist with any general operational duties as requested by management.
• Assist in warehouse functions

In order to be considered for this role, it is essential that you have a strong work ethic, a practical approach to maintenance, and take pride in ensuring our facilities are maintained to the highest standard.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Matric (preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a handyman, maintenance or building maintenance role.
• Experience with basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry and painting.
• Valid driver's licence (advantageous).
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety practices will be advantageous.
