Full job description
We are looking for an experienced Healthcare and Gap administrator that can give advice and work well under pressure.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years working experience dealing with medical schemes and Gap cover
- RE05 & NQF5 qualification
- Registered with the CMS and currently registered as a representative for Categories 1.2 and 1.16
- Vast knowledge on Discovery Health medical scheme and able to give advice to members on plan selections / chronic medication etc
- Deal with all of our medical aid and Gap clients (currently we have over 2000 members)
- Organised and systematic
- Confident and mature
- Submit all claims, applications, queries to the medical schemes and Gap companies and follow up on the query / submission
- Liaise with our clients HR department on all queries / submissions / withdrawals
- Check and balance all monthly billing statements for medical schemes and Gap corporate clients
- Able to work well as a team and take instruction from Management
- Handle our yearend process for all of our corporate schemes
- Previous experience working on Broker Tools and X Plan will be an advantage
- Load tasks on X Plan for all monthly billing statements, new business applications and claims / queries that need to be escalated
- Excellent telephone manner and presentable
- Own transport and car
