About the Opportunity

A leading retail organisation is seeking to appoint five dynamic and results-driven Area Managers / Financial Development Officers (FDOs) to oversee operations across multiple stores within Gauteng.

The successful candidates will be responsible for driving operational excellence, improving profitability, developing store teams, and ensuring compliance with company standards and objectives. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced leaders who thrive in a fast-paced, multi-site management environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and improve overall store performance and profitability.
• Implement merchandising and marketing strategies.
• Analyse financial reports, budgets, and performance statistics.
• Drive sales growth and operational efficiencies.
• Conduct regular store visits and performance reviews.
• Manage stock control, stock ageing, damages, and stock takes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and legislative requirements.
• Mentor, coach, and develop store management teams.
• Improve customer service standards and overall customer experience.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with franchisees and stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric (Tertiary qualification in Business Management or related field advantageous)
• Minimum
• 5 years' management experience
• , with at least
• 2 years in senior or area management
• Strong financial and budgeting acumen with experience analysing P&L statementsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Management Information SystemsExcellent leadership, communication, and organisational skillsAbility to work independently and travel extensivelyOwn reliable vehicle and valid driver's licenceAbility to pass a polygraph assessment if required.Competencies
