JOB PURPOSE

The purpose of this role is to ensure that our products meet industry standards and meet customer requirements, and that the processes followed in production conform to the requirements of the Quality Management System and ISO 13485.

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE

· Grade 12

· Quality Assurance Qualification (Advantageous)

· Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience

· Medical device manufacturing environment experience (Advantageous)

· Previous exposure to a Quality Management System (such as ISO 9001 or ISO 13485)

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Check manufactured components prior to these being received into stock.

2. Conduct in-process non-conformance investigations.

3. Conduct Quality Assurance and device performance tests in accordance with the relevant product standards.

4. Conduct quality inspections within the manufacturing process.

5. Conduct routine internal audits of manufacturing processes and associated technical support.

6. Control documentation and records related to quality within the manufacturing environment.

7. Deliver clerical functions and administrative support to the Regulatory and Quality Assurance Department, ensuring efficient documentation, record management, and compliance with organizational standards

8. Ensure the upkeep and continuous improvement of validation protocols and procedures in the manufacturing environment.

9. Implement, execute and verify adherence to Quality Management System processes and procedures

10. Maintain and update Work Instructions and Procedures in the manufacturing environment.

11. Maintain equipment calibration process and record keeping.

12. Perform basic quality control checks on incoming raw materials and components.

13. Report on quality assurance problems to the Quality Assurance Manager.

Pay: Up to R9 000,00 per month
