A vacancy exists at Medilogistics for a Distribution Manager based in Pongola reporting to Logistics Manager. The responsibility of the vacancy of the Distribution Manager is to assist with the daily operations of the specific distribution hub, area or function.
The responsibility of the vacancy of Distribution Manager is to direct and oversee the daily activities relating to a specific distribution hub, area or function. Responsible for planning, coordinating and executing, in a timely manner, the daily activities of a given hub/area and implementing programs that ensure the needs of all functions within that area are met (training, safety, security and housekeeping).
QUALIFICATION
- Grade 12
- National Diploma (3yrs) or Higher in Logistics / Distribution / Freight / Courier or Supply Chain Management/ Business Management
EXPERIENCE
- Valid Driver’s License code 8 or higher.
- Computer Literacy in Microsoft Packages
- 6 months to 1 year distribution-related experience
- 1 or more years junior managerial experience, coupled with a strategic outlook and focus.
- 2 or more years administrative experience
COMPETENCIES
- Knowledge of basic HR Processes.
- Knowledge of Logistics systems
- Knowledge of basic HR Processes.
- Knowledge of I.T systems & support
- Exceptional managerial and administrative skills – operations, people and marketing.
