Full job description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Analytical Laboratory Technician to join our team.
Minimum Requirements:
Matric with Mathematics and Science
Relevant qualification in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field will be advantageous
Experience with titrations is essential
Knowledge of UV-Vis Spectrophotometry and Hull Cell testing will be advantageous
Good attention to detail and accuracy in recording results
Ability to follow laboratory procedures and safety standards
Strong communication and organizational skills
Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine laboratory analyses and testing
Perform titrations and record results accurately
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
Operate UV-Vis analysis and Hull Cell evaluations
Prepare chemical solutions and reagents
Maintain laboratory records and documentation
Ensure compliance with quality and safety procedures
Assist with general laboratory housekeeping and stock control

Eager to learn and develop technical skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Pay: R8 000,00 - R9 000,00 per month
