Medical Offer jobs

We are looking for an experienced, highly organised and professional Medical Secretary to join our established orthopaedic specialist practice in Bloemfontein.

The successful candidate will work closely with the orthopaedic surgeon and practice team and will be responsible for patient administration, appointment scheduling, correspondence, medical aid authorisations, theatre bookings and general secretarial duties.

Requirements:

* Previous experience in a medical/specialist practice is not essential

* Excellent administrative and organisational skills

* Professional telephone and patient communication skills

* Good command of English and Afrikaans

* Computer literate

* Accurate and attentive to detail

* Ability to work independently and under pressure

* Knowledge of medical aids and practice management systems advantageous

* Previous orthopaedic/surgical practice experience advantageous
