TAH Plein Street Durbanville forms part of TAH (The Animal Hospital & Vetshop) and is looking for a competent Telephonist to join their team. TAH is a growing and employee-centered network of vet practices committed to building motivated teams who create happy clients and healthy pets.
The telephonist is often the first contact a pet owner has with a practice and is therefore a critical role in determining the client experience and reputation of the practice in their local community. This roles’ purpose is to provide clients with excellent customer service and completes a range of practice administration in a way that presents a professional image.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Manage the customer experience at the appointment and on the telephone.
- Complete branch administration (Support Stock and Financial processes, Coordinate documentation, Support client communications)
- Must be able to provide occasional cover and support at reception when required.
Requirements and skills:
Education: Grade 12
Work Experience: 1 year experience in TAH Reception and previous experience in a veterinary practice will be to your advantage
Skills: Bilingual (English & Afrikaans), Computer Literate, Product Knowledge, Switchboard, Planning & Organising of appointments, Administration processes, Stock receipting
Work hours: 150 hours per month, daily shifts from 8h00 – 15h00 with lunch
